What made you decide to book your boudoir session with LIGHT +SHADOWS BOUDOIR instead of another photographer?
Light + Shadows is probably the only photographer I would have trusted to do my boudoir. Umm I’ve been friends with him for a long time. Never would have done a boudoir on my own. But umm, I just decided to help him out one day, work together collab and see how it goes. And I love their team. Like, they are so sweet. They amp you up like nobody’s business. They make you feel so good about yourself which is kind of the point. Umm they are SUPER empowering. They want you to feel your best. They want you to feel beautiful. And that’s really cool. And they really are good at it.
How did you feel before your shoot? Any thoughts going through your mind?
I was honestly very nervous for the boudoir because I’ve never done it before I even though I am a model myself. I don’t do stuff like that. Umm so, I was a little nervous. I didn’t really know what to expect. I didn’t know what it was going to be like at all really. So, I came into it with an open mind of course, and I just kind of did my thing. Umm I just went into it being myself and the photos came out beautiful. I have was very impressed. It was a lot of fun.
What was your favourite part about your photo shoot experience?
My favorite part is just the energy in the room! Umm everyone is just so happy: got happy tunes goin’; everyone is just kind of feeling the vibe: you’re just hanging out. There’s no pressure. You’re just being yourself. And just kind of exploring and feeling sexy! And they’re really good at making you feel that way. And so like, ya! It’s a lot of fun!
My makeup was AMAZING! Uh the outfits were really cool. He provided his own and then I brought my own stuff and so you have to be super creative with it.
